Overnight
Camp
We highly recommend members
to join our camps because they can have advantage activities and travel at night. All these games are existing and beneficial to participants' growth. They learnt to be confident to leave their comfort zone with the support from teammates and tutors.
The last overnight camp for members' training was held at Pak Tam Chung Holiday Camp on 14- 16/ 3/ 2014 (3day 2night). There were 30 members joined and all of the feedback are positive. At the last day of the camp, there was a sharing section for the participants to share about their learning and changes after the camp. They said that they learnt to be responsible and independent when you encountered problems. Some of them cried and it was so touching.

Social Service
With
cooperated with other organizations and services centers, we have launched a
lots of social services for the members to participate in, by which train up
their problem solving skills and communication skills, and also enhance their
understanding of the society.
We have cooperated with Po Leung Kuk and had several times of visiting to the primary school, elderly centers and kindergarten, during with volunteer prepared games to play with the services users and also presents for them.
Besides visiting, the volunteer team also helped in Flag Day Fundraising, on 10th November, 2013. They woke up very early and it was a big challenge to them. Surprisingly, there was no volunteer absent and they were passionately invited passer to buy a flag.

The biggest event prepared
by the volunteer last year was the Happy Family Carnival. The members had
prepared five booths for the participants and invited band team of our center
to perform in the opening of the carnival. Also they made a set of display
board to tell the residence about NEET and the service of our center. They also
designed the decoration and setting of the carnival under supervision of our
staff. They had done a good job and there were about 600 people participated in
the carnival and they all left with a happy face.
Family Day Camp
To facilitate communication and interaction
among members and their family members, we invited them to participate in family
day camp, in which they will have team building games, orienteering and some
special task. Last time the camp was held in Jockey Club Tai Tong Holiday Camp,
7th June, 2014. Participants must join the camp in unit, including
both member and his/her family members. They had a great time in the camp and
overcame challenges by cooperating with their family. Also the special task,
kissing your family members, was highly appreciated as it was a good chance for
the participants to show their love and caring to each other. It was a warm and
lovely moment.
Family Day Camp is held twice a year, so we are planning for it and will announce details as soon as possible. If you want to know more about the camp and give comments on the arrangement of last camp, please contact Tam sir, David (Registered Social Worker). It would be great to know more about your opinion. We are looking for the next camp to enjoy with you all.
